RL w/ Haruhi

[baaaaseball]

[ This was the place, slip of paper right? He looked back to the address on the slip of paper in his left hand. Yeah, this was it. A large empty partkling lot laid out before him. In his right hand, he carried a bag filled with white flowers, and a small can of green paint.It was slightly chilly, more so than his own world currently was, but he had to keep with the spirit, and decided against bringing his black coat with him. A little farther ahead of him, he could see several cans of paint, most of them white, though other colors were there as well, and next to them, uprooted white flowers not to different from the ones he had. He finally noticed the girl in the white sundress next to them, and smiled as he called out to her. ]

Yo, Suzumiya. I'm here.

Aha! Great! [ She also acquired a jacket (because her coat is white) and switched her ribbons around with white ones. Ha ha ha.

She runs up next to him, beaming excitedly. ] Okay! Should you do the bunny ghost or should I?

[baaaaseball]

Hmm. You should have the honor. It was your idea, after all. [ He smiles and grabs one of the blue paint cans. ] I'll start with the ocean then. Oh! And I brought the flowers too! [ He holds up the bag with white flowers out to her. ]

[sosbrigade]

[ Does this count as a guy giving her flowers? Even though they're technically for throwing everywhere? Her brain went somewhere just there.

Quick. Deflect it with tsun! ] Well, mine are better flowers but these will do!

[ Phew. She puts them with the others before grabbing that white paint. ] Ocean away, Natsume.

[baaaaseball]

[ He just laughs at her comment. ] Aye aye, Captain!

[ With a small salute, he rolls up his sleeves, and opens the can of blue paint, grabbing a brush and starting a wave. He never did do much painting in the past, but how hard could it be to paint the ocean? ]

Have you painted much before, Suzumiya?

[sosbrigade]

[ Dumps some of the paint on the floor as her method to start painting this ghost. ]

Oh yeah! All the time. [ He didn't mean on actual canvas, right? ]

[baaaaseball]

Oh? Really? Can't say I have, so you'll have to forgive me for any mistakes I make.

[ He watches her, before looking back at his own can. Not a bad idea. The ocean was a large place. He mimics her actions, before spreading some of it around with his paintbrush to form waves. ]

So you were in an art club?

[sosbrigade]

You'd have to be pretty terrible for making mistakes on waves. They're like the easiest thing you could paint.

[ This is the big ghost face. It is a rabbit with fangs. Yes it has fangs. ]

Yup. All they did in there was paint stuff for the school though.

[baaaaseball]

Ah, so it wasn't really fun, was it? Our art club is the same really, but I've always just painted random things with my friends growing up anyway. More room for creativity that way.

[ He grabs some green, and begins to draw what looks like a brontosaurus in the water. ]

Don't forget the sword for the ghost.

[sosbrigade]

It was boring. You'd think the art club would do the creative things like that.

[ Giant ghost bunny has a giant ghost puffy tail on his giant ghostly....non-leg tail thing. And now for a pirate hat. ]

I won't! I know what I'm doing.

[baaaaseball]

Oh! Don't forget! [ He reaches over (getting some of the white paint on his black pants) with some black paint, putting an eye patch over one of the eyes of the..."bunny" ]

Can't be a pirate without one of those.

[sosbrigade]

Hey hey! I was getting to that! [ Points at him with the brush she put silver paint on for the sword, probably flicking some. ] I'm doing the ghost. You were in the ocean!

[baaaaseball]

[ The silver paint gets on his nose, making him laugh. ]

It looked more fun! Besides, the ocean is practically done! [ He points his own brush back at her, the black paint flicking off as well. ]

[sosbrigade]

[ Blinks. Paint on her dress! It's only like a little line but still. ] Natsume, look what you did! [ She flicks more paint at him. ]

[baaaaseball]

[ The paint lands on his shirt. Of course, silver didn't look half bad on white. ]

Hey! Accidents happen! [ Laughing, he dipped his paint brush in the blue paint, slapping some to the ground over the dinosaur he painted, and then pointed to Haruhi with it, sending some blue paint her way. ]

How about a contest? We should probably start on the ninja army now, right? One minute. Whoever can paint the most ninjas in that time limit wins.

[sosbrigade]

[ Now there's blue across her face. She's purposely dipping hers in purple now to flick it at him.

Flicking paint. ] You're on! Begin the countdown for ninja painting!

[baaaaseball]

[ Does the purple match his eyes? He can only hope so, cause there was no way it was missing his own face. ]

3...2...(he readied his still blue paint brush, dipping it in the black paint)1....

MISSION START!

[ And so he begins, drawing ninjas that...strangely resemble cats with swords. ]

[sosbrigade]

[ It really suits his eyes. It's gorgeous.

And so she quickly starts drawing many ninjas. They are ninja dogs. ]

[baaaaseball]

[ He notices this, and just smirks. ]

So, a traitor to the cause, eh? The Royal Nyamperor won't take well to this, Captain Suzumiya.

[sosbrigade]

The Wolf-King of Bark doesn't care what you puny cats think!

GO MY MINIONS! [ Once again, he flicks black paint her way with his paintbrush ]

[sosbrigade]

Ah! [ PAINT. IN THE FACE. ]

How dare you! [ Flicking that purple paint at him back. ]

[baaaaseball]

[ Purple! In his hair! A disgrace! This means war! ]

[ This time, blue paint! ]

[sosbrigade]

[ Noooo! Her hair is more precious!

She'll counter with green! You'll look like Barney! ]

[baaaaseball]

[ Oooh, whoever is on laundry duty back home is gonna kill him for this! But now wasn't the time!

He counters with more white! Have a ghost arm! ]

[sosbrigade]

[ More silver! Have a robot leg! ]

[baaaaseball]

[ Oh ho! A counter attack? We'll just have to see about tha-

A buzzer went off, his cellphone signaling that one minute had passed. He looked down, and grimaced. Only 16 ninja...cats. He had gotten caught up in the paint war. ]

[sosbrigade]

You actually set a timer? [ Looks at his cat then looks back at her...dogs. 20 dogs.

STANDS UP WITH HER ARMS UP. ] VICTORY!

[baaaaseball]

Of course. How else could we do this contest? [ He claps, just smiling. ]

A well deserved victory, Suzumiya. [ He looks down at their feet, the painting of a ghost pirate rabbit, fighting off combined forces of cats and dog ninjas riding a dinosaur at sea making him smile even wider. ]

The prophet was surrounded by infidels, out to destroy his religion of peace and gift giving, when suddenly, the divine ruler of the sea came to his aid, and helped him defeat his enemies. And it's for that reason we celebrate White Day today. [ He looks to Haruhi. ] Oh, that's right.

[ Grabbing a few of the flowers from the bags, he plucks off the stem, putting one in her hair, as he plucked the petals off the rest. ]

Every piece of religious history needs a fair maiden, you know. [ And down he throws the petals. ]

[sosbrigade]

[ She was pretty darn proud of this and nodding along with their accomplishment. This is exactly what this end product should be. ....even though this isn't at all how they planned it.

Or has anything to do with White Day. But whatever this is how it is now. ]

[ And then she got a flower put in her hair. Her eyes widened, she got a little pink in the face---a

And then she promptly dumped a bucket over paint over his head. ]

[baaaaseball]

[ One second, he saw a growing pink tint on her face. The next, it was no longer pink, but white, as she took a bucket of the paint and poured it over his head. And he just kept laughing. That was quite a way to seal a victory. ]

This is going to be an adventure to get off of me. Gotta hand it to you, Suzumiya, you're more fun than I expected. This was awesome.

[sosbrigade]

Ha ha ha! You'll be cleaning paint out of that for weeks. [ Folds arms. Victory official ] And of course it was awesome.

We should do it again sometime, then. I'll be waiting, Captain Suzumiya.
