I've only come here a few times, but it's amazing how busy they usually are. Seems like we got lucky, the line is usually out the door and down the street.

My favorite is ...vanilla, I guess. Not that exciting, I know.

No such thing as a not exciting flavor. Though I'm pretty standard myself, I'm all about chocolate.

[ He notices his looks around, and smiles. ] That's right. You've never been to Japan before, have you? Much less in the year 2007.

[ He looks back at Kyousuke then ducks his head. ] Yeah. Never been here before. It's different.

What time do you come from, Steve? I know you're from America, but it's not the same as now is it?

No, definitely not. It's 1943 at home.

Ah! My grandpa was born around the 1940s. It was an interesting time here in Japan.

So World War II must not be over for yo- [ He notices one of the waitresses coming their way. ] A chocolate banana split for me.

[ :| born earlier than his grandpa. ...suddenly feeling old. ] It's a pretty interesting time everywhere if interesting is the word you want to use for it.

Yeah it's still going. [ Looks up at the waitress. Then remembers he had a menu this entire time that he hasn't even looked at. Oh. ]

Banana splits are always good. [ The waitress bows and walks away with their orders. ]

I just think it's really cool that I actually get to meet someone from that time period. But, enough about that. War isn't the best subject over ice cream.

You had that party recently with Yuri, right? How was it?

It was alright. Not too much happened. I think most people that got invited were pretty busy. It was just nice.

I did see a giant monster fish, though.

Oooh, the mixer hasn't happened yet, right.

I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun! [ The waitress sets them down, before bowing and going to another table. ] Dig in man, this is on me.

So Steve. Outside of that play you're getting ready for, what's new in your life. I mean, we never really get a chance to talk like this, you know?

We never did. Uh, I don't really have anything going on. I mean I'm just kind of new to the being in the spotlight thing so I guess that's what's going on.

New to being a hero, huh? I can't even imagine what that's like.

I always dreamed of it as a kid. In fact, it still excites me that I get to meet a real one.

[doyoufondue]

Oh... but I don't really count. I mean, you know it's just me in a costume.

A soldier counts! But now that you got the costume, why should we stop there?

[ Kyousuke reaches down below him, pulling out something that looks...kind of dusty. A lot of somethings.

Old American comic books, as a matter of fact. ]

Superman, Batman, the Amazing Spiderman, Miracleman...You're almost like them! In fact, we can make you like them! You already got the great physique and courage!

You even have a name! Captain America!

[ Steve leans forward to look at them, a little smile on his face for a moment before he looks up at Kyousuke.

Old for Kyousuke maybe. ]

I don't know. Superman can fly and The Batman is rich. ...I've never seen the other two before. What are they like? Can I look at them?

...They did put Captain America in a comic recently. In my world anyway.

Miracleman is your typical, nearly-invincible flying superhero. But with a really interesting story. Spiderman has all the abilities of a spider. Shoots web, climbs walls, all that. [ He hands over the comics. ]

But you don't need to fly or be super rich. A hero is not judged by his powers, but by his actions.

All we gotta do is help prepare you a little. Prepare you for the life of a superhero! Whaddya say?

...were does he shoot webs from? [ opens the comic and flips a few pages. Oh. The wrist. ] ...nevermind. [ Reading these ho hum ]

Prepare you for the life of superheroics! You already have the costume! [ He takes a bite of his sundae. ] Wouldn't that be cool?

Guess it would. ...How exactly do you prepare for that again?

I have no idea. [ He says this with a beaming smile on his face. ]

[ raises an eyebrow at him while taking a bite of that icecream. but you're suggesting it- how don't you know? ahaha ]

[ The look on his face just makes him smile even more. ]

We'll figure it out. We do have this comic books as a reference you know. And I've read a lot of adventure stories and stuff. This will be great!

When do you have time off again? I can try to set things up in the meantime.

Not for a while since they're going to send me to do shows overseas. I got some time before that but Yuri and Ange called dibs on it for a movie.

No rush, no rush. I have some things I still have to take care of as well. I can get it set up in the mean time though. [ He takes a bite of the now rapidly melting sundae. All this superhero talk made him hungry. ]

I could probably use the sport field for some sort of training field.

Maybe. I wouldn't want to ruin your field though. [ steve practically ate his icecream whole like 2 minutes ago. ]
